Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system will be launched on July 29. But, it is not necessary that you can download the new operating system on the same day. Microsoft had disclosed about the rollout of Windows 10 through a blog last week. The roll-out will happen in phases, beginning with users of the Insider Program for Windows. Terry Myerson, executive vice president of Microsoft’s operating system, told that the rollout of Windows 10 will be in phases.

“We want every consumer to have the best upgrade experience. That’s why we’ll be rolling out Windows 10 in phases to manage demand,” Myerson said.

On July 29, the latest version of the operating system will be first available to members of the Windows Insider Program. The company says that users who have registered for the upgrade will be informed about the download gradually. Microsoft says that the upgrade process will depend on the rollout performance.

“Starting July 29, we will be the first to make Windows 10 available to members of the Windows Insider Program,” Myerson said. After this, the users who have registered will be provided the latest version on a phase basis. This process will be expedited after July 29. We will continue to share the experiences of Windows 10 users every day during the rollout.

If a user has reserved a copy of Windows 10, Microsoft will notify the user after checking the compatibility of the system and downloading the new OS to the system. If for any reason the system is not suitable for a Windows 10 upgrade, Microsoft will inform the user of the standards required for the upgrade.

Myerson also revealed that business houses that have registered for Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education will have to wait a little longer. These versions will be rolled out from August 1.
