Ola has announced to offer free home delivery of oxygen concentrators through its Ola app to provide relief from the coronavirus pandemic in India. Ola has partnered with GiveIndia Foundation for this campaign to enable free delivery of oxygen concentrators to the needy people through the ‘O2forIndia’ initiative. Let us tell you, the second wave of corona virus epidemic in India has taken a formidable form, in which lakhs of cases of COVID-19 are being registered daily. The second wave of COVID-19 has proved more dangerous than the first wave, which has left the medical infrastructure in disarray.

One of the major problems arising during the second wave of COVID-19 in India is the unavailability of live-saving resources, such as oxygen concentrators and cylinders, etc. Because of this, people are compelled to ask for help through social media. Government help may be delayed to help the citizens, but there are many such private organizations which are coming forward to help the people on their own. Together with one of these organizations, Ola launched its new Service has announced. Through this service, Ola is going to do free home delivery of oxygen concentrators to the needy people. Under this service, Ola will provide both pick-up and delivery facility. You can take advantage of this new service through the Ola app. However, at present, this service of Ola is limited only to the city of Bangalore.

Bhavish Aggarwal, co-founder of Ola Cabs Tweet Through this new service was announced and also informed that in the coming weeks this service will be extended to other cities of India as well. For this facility, customers will have to deposit a safety refundable amount of Rs 5,000.

Aggarwal says, “We are hopeful that this initiative will prove beneficial to help the people in this difficult time and will help in easing the pain and anxiety of the affected people.”

It is worth noting that special training is being given to Ola cab drivers for this campaign, so that they can help others in this difficult time along with their own safety.
