The new MacBook Pro 2016 Touch Bar variant is in stock with select dealers. Kerala-based Apple reseller IT Net Infocom has announced via Twitter that they have the new Touch Bar variant in stock. Prices for the 13-inch Touch Bar variant start at Rs 1,55,900 and the 15-inch variant at Rs 2,05,900.

We spoke to a Mumbai-based retailer in this regard. He said about not getting any units. The 2016 MacBook Pro is not listed on any e-commerce site yet. It is possible that the company has already started providing stock. Hopefully it will be available in more stores soon.

The most unique feature of the new MacBook Pro is the multi-touch control strip. Actually, it has now replaced the function button. Apple named it Touch Bar. It is fully interactive and context sensitive. It displays several commands related to the system, as well as adapts them to different apps and workflows. During the launch, the company said that it also works for auto-completion of words, writing emails and filling tools. Apart from this, they can also be used during Photoshop tool selection, DJ mixing and video editing.

The application will display the content across the screen when the control is moved on the Touch Bar. Multi-touch gestures mean you’ll be able to change the timeline as well.

The new MacBook Pro also has Touch ID sensors that are integrated into the power button. Apple also revealed its new chassis design, which makes the 13-inch MacBook Pro smaller and thinner than the company’s 13-inch MacBook Air. The new speaker has also been claimed to give a much better sound. Speakers are now present on either side of the keyboard.

Now let’s talk about the specification. These include Intel Core i5 and i7 6th generation CPUs, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The 13-inch model has a screen resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and integrated Intel Iris 540 graphics. The screen resolution of the 15-inch model is 2880×1800 pixels and uses AMD Radeon Pro graphics.

The model that comes with Touch Bar has four USB Type-C ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed along with Thunderbolt 3.
