Documents Required for IRCTC eWallet
1- Verification of User Identity: IRCTC verifies the eWallet user through their PAN or Aadhaar card through an online verification process.
2- Secure Access: IRCTC provides transaction password/password for every booking made through eWallet.
3- Complete History: User is provided with a separate link named IRCTC eWallet where options like IRCTC Wallet Transaction History, IRCTC eWallet Payment History and Change Transaction Password are available.
4- Easy Refund: In case of tickle cancellation, the entire money will be refunded to your IRCTC wallet the next day.
Please note that a fee of Rs 50 (non-refundable) will have to be paid for registering for IRCTC eWallet. Along with this, a transaction charge of Rs 5 will also be levied on every transaction. It is worth noting that no cash refund or discount is available for using IRCTC eWallet. Apart from this, IRCTC eWallet can be used only for booking railway tickets.
