Dell came second with a 24.1 per cent share. The company registered a growth of 27.6 per cent as compared to the previous quarter.
According to IDC, HP achieved 18.9 per cent growth compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Lenovo stood third in the quarter with a market share of 17.5 per cent. It has been informed in the report that the company registered a growth of 27.3 percent as compared to the second quarter of 2016.
In the third quarter of 2016, about 2.5 million personal computers were made available in the market by the companies. This is an increase of 17.3 percent compared to the previous quarter. However, 22.5 percent less than the corresponding quarter last year.
In the consumer PC market, 13 lakh 70 thousand units were sold, which is 31 percent more than the previous quarter.
