Last year, the Delhi government launched an app called Delhi Corona, which will run on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) is available for download on both platforms. This year also you can use it to check the availability of beds in hospitals. The app is designed to make it easier to discover features related to COVID-19. This app can be used to get information about health facilities and vacant beds available in both government and private hospitals in the capital city. It also gives information about the total beds as well as the number of ventilators used and vacant beds in the hospital. The Delhi Corona app also supports both Hindi and English languages.
The good thing is that the user does not require any kind of registration to get information from the Delhi Corona app.
How to get information about empty beds through Delhi Corona app
As soon as you open the app, you will see a section of ‘COVID-19 Beds’ on the home page (see main image above). Here you will see the total number of beds available, authorized beds and total number of beds available in the hospitals. You can also tap anywhere on this section to get information about available beds by hospitals. Tapping will open all the hospitals in front of you and the tab of each hospital will also include a link to the contact and location.
The COVID-19 ICU Beds section is also present just below the COVID-19 Beds section. In this section you will get the information of total ICU beds available in hospitals, authorized ICU beds and available ICU beds. Tapping on this section will open the list of hospitals.
