Asus launched the ZenBook 3 (UX390UA) laptop in India in August. Its sales were to start in October. However, now finally on November 27, this laptop will be available for purchase. The starting price of ZenBook 3 is Rs 1,13,990. Transformer Pro 3 retail sales will begin in January 2017. Asus launched the new Zenfone 3 series at Computex 2016, The ZenBook 3 is the company’s flagship ultrabook which measures 11.9mm thick and weighs 910 grams. Its body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and it has Asus’s signature ‘spun-metal’ texture.

Intel’s seventh generation ‘Kaby-Lake’ Core processor has been given in this laptop. Asus has launched three variants according to different specifications. These include a Core i5-7200U, 8GB RAM and 512GB SATA 3M.2 SSD model priced at Rs 1,13,990, Core i7-7500U, 8GB RAM and 512GB Sata 3M.2 SSD model priced at Rs 1,23,990. Repay and the most premium variant i7-7500U, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB PCIe M.2 SSD is priced at Rs 1,47,990. The ZenBook 3 also packs a 1TB SSD storage but we don’t think Asus will bring the SKU to India yet as the pricing of this variant is not yet known.

Other features of the ZenBook 3 include a 12.5-inch Full HD display and Gorilla Glass 4, VGA web cam, Harmon Kardon speakers, backlit keyboard, and a 6-cell, 40 WHR battery. For connectivity, this laptop has a headphone, microphone and USB Type-C port like Apple’s MacBook. This laptop will be available in Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Gray color variants. The ZenBook 3 also has the world’s thinnest 3mm fan. According to Asus, the screen-to-body ratio is 82 percent and it will get 9 hours of battery life. With quick charging, the battery gets charged up to 60 percent in 49 minutes. The ZenBook 3 comes with a backpack, laptop sleeve and a dock.
